Niching Reports Q4 Revenue of NT$2.46 Billion, Up 4% YoY
Niching Industrial Corporation (3444) has announced its Q4 2023 financial results, reporting consolidated revenue of NT$245.96 million, up 4% year-on-year from NT$237.60 million in Q4 2022. However, it represents a 5% decrease from the previous quarter's NT$259.32 million. December 2023's monthly revenue stood at NT$76.37 million, marking a 6% increase from December 2022's NT$72.35 million.
The company's full-year revenue for 2023 amounted to NT$976 million, down 8% from NT$1.06 billion in 2022. Despite this slight dip, Niching Industrial Corporation asserts that it remains in line with industry expectations.
Niching attributes the year-over-year decline in revenue to factors such as ongoing adjustments in product inventory and a disparity in semiconductor packaging and testing capacity compared to the previous year. Revenue from IC drivers decreased by 3% annually, testing-related activities decreased by 7%, and semiconductor carrier boards decreased by 33% in 2023.
Looking ahead to 2024, the company anticipates a rebound in the semiconductor industry, driven by trends in advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration. It forecasts revenue distribution in 2024 to be 40-45% for testing-related activities, 35-40% for IC drivers, and 12-15% for semiconductor carrier boards. Niching Industrial Corporation is actively pursuing strategies to increase profitability, including boosting the proportion of proprietary products and expanding its product portfolio.
